- Wipe down marble surfaces with a damp rag and buff dry with a chamois for routine cleaning.
- Tough stains require a neutral, non abrasive cleaner such as acetone, hydrogen peroxide or clear ammonia.
- Always apply the cleaning solution with a cloth and buff dry.
- Only polish marble surfaces after cleaning using a marble polish containing tin oxide.
- Protect your marble floors with a stone sealer. Use a non abrasive floor cleaner.
- Always place coasters under glasses and put plastic under cosmetics. Water can stain marble.
- Use rugs to cover marble in high traffic areas.
- Refer serious scratches of any depth for professional repair.
